War of cars lacks Vibe as Honda Amaze and Dzire sell well. Ford EcoSport and Chevrolet Enjoy in the innovative small utility vehicle segment will take on the Maruti Ertiga MPV soon Honda has recently launched its new Amaze while Ford is soon to introduce the EcoSport SUV and Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is also about to make its presence felt in the market. Mahindra is also set to introduce their new hatchback Vibe that will be  strong car in the segment. These already introduced and upcoming models will battle it out where price and features are concerned. Honda Amaze is launched at an aggressive price and has already seen sales to the tune of 4,852 units in the month of April when the vehicle first went on sale. Still a long way to go to compete with MSIL's DZire, of which the company sold 19,446 units in April. Honda expects to roll out less than 40,000 units of  Amaze this year. Ford EcoSport and Chevrolet Enjoy in the innovative small utility vehicle segment will take on the Maruti Ertiga MPV soon. It is now left to be seen whether these cars will add to segment sales considerably or eat into a chunk of Maruti's stronghold. Despite severe constraints being felt across auto sectors in the country there is hope in the compact segment.
