Mumbai: Karbonn's mid-range smartphone, the A7 Star, has gone up for sale at a couple of online retailers. While one retailer has listed the Karbonn A7 Star for the price of Rs 6,190, another store is offering the phone for Rs 5,990. In terms of specifications, there's nothing that stands out, but that doesn't mean the A7 isn't a solid handset for the price. There's a 4.5-inch capacitive display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, instead of the more recent Jelly Bean version of the OS, which can be considered a demerit in the A7. But at least it's not saddled with Gingerbread.
