Mumbai: Chevrolet Enjoy MPV at Rs 5.49 lakh is set to take on Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The latest multi-purpose vehicle from General Motors is set to intensify the competition in this particular market segment that has been dominated by the likes of Toyota Innova and recently by Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Price difference is sure to play a major role in adoption of Chevrolet Enjoy in the Indian market as it has been priced substantially lower that both its market competitors. General Motors is involved in aggressive promotion of its vehicles in the Indian market and has launched a number of hatchback and sedans in the past few months. Its Chevrolet Sail has got great response in the Indian market in the last few months since its introduction in the local market. The Multi Purpose Vehicle has been introduced in both petrol and Disel variant and I am sure both the versions are going to get good response in the Indian market. Reports suggest that the 1.4 litre petrol version comes with price tag ranging from Rs 5.49 lakh to Rs 6.99 lakh. On the other hand diesel version comes with price tag of Rs 6.69 lakh to Rs. 7.99 lakh. Both the versions are around Rs 50000- Rs 60000 cheaper compared to  Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
