BlackBerry services which faced an outage in India and some other parts of the world are finally functioning normally. A 3 May tweet from the company's official handle read, "All BlackBerry services are returning to normal levels. Apologies to any customers who experienced issues earlier. ^DH" Soon after the outage, which generated outrage on Twitter and other social media forums, Varghese Thomas, director – corporate communications – India & Greater China Region said, "As an update, we can confirm that our technical teams have addressed the issue and BlackBerry services are returning to normal levels. We apologise to customers for any inconvenience. We take all service issues – no matter how small – very seriously and through constant monitoring and investigation we aim to ensure our network meets customer expectations." The outage was not as widespread as one the company faced in 2011, but a lot of consumers were understandably very annoyed. The company has since refused to provide any details about how widespread the problem was. Firstpost encourages open discussion and debate, but please adhere to the rules below, before posting.
