Finnish phonemaker Nokia has formed a partnership with WhatsApp for new social Asha phone the 210.
The latest edition to Nokia's value range of ‘smart' feature phones not only boasts a proper QWERTY keyboard, it also is the first phone to feature a dedicated WhatsApp button. Conceived
around social networking and simplicity, the Asha 210 has native Facebook and Twitter apps and supports a number of popular web-based email services such as Gmail.

What's more, all of WhatsApp's services will be offered free of charge to Asha 210 owners for the lifetime of their device.

As with all Asha handsets, the 210 is available in a host of vibrant colors and can be specified with a dual SIM option so that users can keep voice and data charges separate and can travel from territory to territory without incurring huge roaming charges. The 210 is also one of the first Asha phones to complement its EGPRS internet connection with wi-fi. But maybe most impressive of all is the phone's battery life -- 46 days on standby for the single SIM model and 24 days between charges for the dual SIM variant.

The Asha 210 will start shipping globally this summer and is expected to cost $79.
