Several countries are going to get LG Optimus F5 in Europe today. Here is a short specs and features review of this mid-range handset. But India will have to wait a bit longer for the arrival of this beautiful handset The LG Optimus F5, the first device from the LG's newest Optimus F series was rolled out in the European market, marking its debut in the world of mid-range smart phones. In its first phase the device is made available in France and subsequently would find its way to the markets of South and Central America, Asia and the Common-wealth of Independent States (CIS) in coming weeks. The device that had a curtain raiser during the 2013 Mobile World Congress in February, is one of two new 4G-ready Android devices that the Korean phone-maker. At present there is no updates regarding the launch date of Optimus F7, the other device. Though the exact price of the device is not known yet, Optimus F 5 USP stands in being supportive of LTE, although that is only useful for those with 4G networks operating in their country. The handset is believe to be a hit among the middle-order of the smartphone industry, a space that is showing particular promise in developing markets particularly the Asian and Latin American markets, where many users are priced out of top-end devices, and operator subsidisation is not present as it is in western markets. Commenting upon its latest venture, the President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company,  Dr. Jong-seok Park, said: ""The Optimus F5 is a natural extension of LG's lineup of strong LTE devices, offering the lightning-speed of 4G LTE and UX features of a premium phone. With the Optimus F5, we're confident we can capture an untapped market of new and upgrading smartphone users who crave a feature-rich, LTE device, at a great price. "LG has consistently set the standard in the mobile industry with technology that compliments, not complicates, users' lives". The 4G LTE smartphone runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 OS and has a 4.3-inch IPS display, which has a pixel density of 256ppi.  It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Measuring 126.0 x 64.5 x 9.3mm, the handset comes with 8GB of on-device storage and 1GB of RAM  with a microSD extendable upto 32GB. The smartphone comes packed with a 2,150mAh battery and comes with a 5 megaxpixels rear camera and 1.3 megapixels camera in the front. . Further, the Optimus F 5 is packed with with LG's exclusive UX features like QSlide, Live Zooming, Video Wiz, and QTranslator which can automatically translating words, phrases and entire sentences in more than 40 languages for the user. While the QSlide feature allows users to open multiple apps at the same time in full screen mode with the ability to change the size, position and transparency of the windows., Live Zooming lets the users zoom in on videos so they can get a closer, detailed look at any specific area. The Video Wiz feature lets users play movie director by giving them the power to edit videos and enhance them with sound and music right on the phone itself and  QTranslator function instantly translates not only words, but also entire sentences and phrases by simply using the camera to scan the text. QTranslator accepts 44 different languages and can translate them into any one of 64 languages.
