Friending Your Boss on Facebook: Voters Say Don't Do It - WPMI Local 15 News

Are you friends with your boss on Facebook? What about co-workers? AllFacebook.com released a poll asking, Should You be Friends with Your Boss on Facebook? YouTell and SodaHead created the survey. Eighty-one percent of those surveyed said they would not be friends with their boss; 45 percent said they aren't even friends with co-workers online. Of that same survey group, only 23 percent are friends with their parents on Facebook and 13 percent are friends with their kids online. Earlier this month, Local 15's Taren Reed talked about social networking in the workplace, and how it's a great tool to help in customer service situations. But don't get the two confused.
