Affordable 5-inch Micromax Canvas Viva A72 re-appears - Daily Bhaskar

Yesterday we spotted the affordable Canvas handset from Micromax, the Micromax Viva A72 make a debut at Flipkart. Soon within an hour it went out saying 'out of stock'. (Read here) Later during the day we witnessed that the budget dual SIM phone made an appearance at other online stores at a higher price. We were expecting the company to supply more pieces of the A116 Canvas HD to stores which is already selling at a higher price, but, the company preferred to release a budget Canvas. (Let us call the Canvas Viva, a Canvas Mini. When we first heard the rumours we wished the company to go for a better Canvas to challenge flagship high-end Android devices from other compnaies. But looking at the specs and lower price point, it would be good to call this phone a Canvas Mini) We appreciate the move as this means making a good 5 inch phone available to people who do not want to go for a Rs 14000 price point. Yet we believe that the company should release sufficient numbers of Canvas HD in the market first. However, the phone which made a debut at flipkart yesterday noon has made a re-appearance at Flipkart today morning at Rs 6999. Seems the store has received fresh stocks very fast.
