| Nokia has confirming that its Windows phones won't be getting the 7.8 version of the update anymore. According to Nokia's Russian Twitter account, Microsoft has confirmed that it will stop rolling out the update. For those of you who don't read Russian, the tweet reads: Microsoft decided to temporarily suspend distribution updates WP7.8 for finalization. According to Tech2.com Nokia had rolled out the update to devices back in January and the list included the Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800, and 900. It seems the update with its Windows Live Tiles was hogging too much data, which in turn caused the battery to die faster. The tweet by Nokia's Russia account was in response to a Lumia user asking Nokia about the battery drainage on the devices after updating to version W7.8. Windows Phone 7.8 has the same homescreen as Windows Phone 8 and allows users to choose from three different tile sizes which is similar to Windows Phone 8.
