Google and Samsung are ready for a battle. A war of the mobiles. While Samsung phones have achieved great heights of success using Google's Android platform, it is this very same thing which might lead to a smartphone war between the two brands. Google's Android software is successful because of its open source  and also the fact that more and more companies are open to adapting to the changing versions. However, every year, Google partners with different phone makers to produce the next best Android phone, Nexus. So far while HTC and Samsung have benefitted by the Nexus phone range, this year it was the LG - Google partnership that won hearts. And while Nexus might give a glimpse into the future of Android phones, say the word 'Best Android Phone' and instantly just one name pops to mind: Samsung Galaxy SIII. However, both the advocates of Android might be in for a competition. While we do know Samsung Galaxy SIV is set to be unveiled on 14th March, looks like Nexus 4 is set to debut in India just a day later. While the lid has been on for so long and there have been no hinters from Google either, an e-commerce portal has spilled the beans. The phone is up for pre-booking on the site and on clicking the 'tell me when available' option, we see a date of 15th March. If the news is true, it means Google Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy SIV are set to release just a day apart. Yeah, there is still a difference of continents but we can't help and hope that like the BlackBerry Z10, Samsung too will give importance to India and release phones here simultaneously if not before the global availability. So much for hopes. However, whatever the case, if the news of Nexus 4 coming to India is true, it sure means that there's going to be competition between the two. With the craze surrounding the Galaxy SIV, we, with a heavy heart have to wish LG Nexus 4 all the best.
