Simmtronics has launched a new tablet in the Indian market and this one is called the XPad X-1010. It is a 10.1-inch tablet which runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is priced at Rs. 8,499. The XPad X-1010 has a 10.1-inch multi-touch display with a 1024×600 pixels resolution; it also includes a front facing VGA quality camera. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage capacity and an additional microSD card slot which support cards up to 32GB in size. It has a dual-Mali 400 GPU and is equipped with a 5,600 mAh battery which the company claims will provide 150 hours of standby and up to six yours of internet browsing. Apart from this for Rs. 8,499 you also get connectivity features including, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n capability and a HDMI port.
