O2 reveals plans to offer the Nokia Lumia 920 - Inquirer

Nokia Lumia 920 hands on Windows Phone 8

BUBBLY MOBILE OPERATOR O2 has revealed its plans to sell the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone, which it will start offering later this month.

We spotted the Windows Phone 8 device over on O2's Coming Soon webpage, where the network has silently announced that it will start selling the Nokia Lumia 920. There's no word on pricing yet, but O2 has revealed that it will go on sale later this month.

The Nokia Lumia 920 was initially available in the UK as an EE exclusive, but rival networks have been quick to snap up the handset after this exclusivity period ended. Both Three and Vodafone have said that they will sell Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 8 device, with O2 the latest operator to get onboard.

This support isn't all that surprising, as the Nokia Lumia 920 scored an impressive nine out of 10 in our review. That was thanks to its bumper feature set, which includes a 4.5in Clearblack display, an 8MP rear-facing Pureview camera and a nippy dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

There's also a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE support, 32GB of internal storage and a 2,000mAh battery.

For those after a cheaper Windows Phone 8 device, O2 has also revealed plans to sell the Huawei Ascend W1, which will go on sale in March. ยต
