LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro at the end of January in Japan which is a premium Android smartphone with a 5 inch display. However, things got a little confusing earlier this month when we heard rumours that the Korean company would also be launching an alternate version of the Optimus G Pro.
Now LG have officially confirmed the existence of a 5.5 inch version of the LG Optimus Pro in Korea. The smartphone has curved full HD display which apparently offers 2.5D viewing bringing added depth to movies and games.
Aside from the larger display this new Optimus G Pro is identical to the other model unveiled by LG back in January. That means it'll be powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and will have 2GB of RAM, while onboard memory weighs in at 32GB.
Other features of the Optimus G Pro include a 13 mega-pixel camera, 2 mega-pixel snapper for video calling, a 3,140 mAh battery and support for 4G LTE. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean meaning it'll incorporate all the latest in mobile technology !
Which version of the LG Optimus G Pro will land in the UK ?With LG unveiling two versions of the Optimus G Pro the obvious question to ask is which version of the smartphone will land in the UK?
The problem is that one of the smartphones was unveiled in Japan, while the other was launched in Korea. Therefore, we really have no idea which version will land on our shores, but the 5.5 inch model seems a bit more risque so out instincts say we'll see the 5 inch version on sale over here.
However, it's also possible both models will be offered. As soon as 3G get more news about LG's Optimus G Pro you'll be the first to know. ![]() via Technology - Google News http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNGtwRvC4kPiZI9w3MLk5iLo5tHdzg&url=http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/Feb2013/lg-optimus-g-pro-with-5.5-inch-curved-display-unveiled.html | |||
