| The original Temple Run was a breakout smartphone endless-running title. It was downloaded over 170 million times and it still has a large daily active user number. It allowed us to make full use of our smartphones and actually made running away from demon monkeys fun instead of scary. But now Imangi Studios have come out with Temple Run 2 and it promises to be even more fun. Temple Run 2 has been released for iOS and you can download it from the App Store right now. But if you are an Android user, you need to wait a little longer. So what's in Temple Run 2? "The first thing that you'll notice in Temple Run 2 is that the environments are just so much more visually rich," Imangi co-founder Keith Shepherd told GamesBeat. "We were thinking it would be really great to have more organic architecture that has some curves to it — and some hills and valleys. That makes more varied [visually] than the original." The original Temple Run was all based on flatland but this time round, you have hills and curved paths to run up. It is definitely more visually exciting than the original. But will it be as big a success? Firstpost encourages open discussion and debate, but please adhere to the rules below, before posting.
