Idea launches new 3G smartphone at Rs 7390 - The Asian Age

Telugu film actor and Idea's brand ambassador Mahesh Babu with the company's chief —ASIAN AGE Idea Cellular is betting big on its 3G dual SIM-smartphone 'Ivory' that was launched here on Tuesday, as it expects that its 3G services to enhance its subscriber base. The new 3G smartphone is priced at Rs 7,390. "With the launch of our fifth 3G smartphone Ivory, we plan to increase our subscriber base, said Rajat Mukarji, chief corporate affairs officer, Idea Cellular. The company had earlier launched four 3G smartphones and sold about 2.25 lakh devices in the last one year.
