Hyundai to launch new compact car BA - Zee News

Zeebiz Bureau New Delhi: With competition for market domination increasing by the day, the Korean car maker Hyundai is planning on rolling out an all-new compact car in India to increase its share in the small car space, as per business daily report. The next-generation new small car, code named BA will come in its highly accepted fluidic design language and will be placed between i10 and i20. The other major features of this car will be reduced turning radius, good pickup, better visibility with large glass surfaces and great fuel economy. Moreover the company can come up with lucrative engine options like sub 1-liter petrol engine to diesel and electric locomotion. The car is likely to be launched in India just ahead of the festive season this year, report added. Overall market share of the company has dropped in the passenge r vehicle space to 14 percent due to the absence of a mass market utility vehicle and a compact sedan.
