| Facebook Inc CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Facebook's new search feature on Tuesday. Called "Graph Search," the feature will focus on helping users sort through photographs, people, places and other content that has been shared with them. Calling it the "third pillar" of Facebook after News Feed and Timeline, Facebook is promoting it as the place where you can, "Find more of what you're looking for through your friends and connections". The graph search page reads: Want to start a book club or find a gym buddy? Connect with friends who like the same activities—and meet new people, too. Unfortunately, the page also reads: Try Graph Search BetaGraph with a 'Search is available now in a very limited beta program for English (US) audiences. Sign up now to find out when you can start using Graph Search' below. So Indian audiences, will have to wait. Till then they can sign up and be wait listed. When we signed up, we were greeted with a message that read: Thanks for signing up for our beta. When Graph Search is ready you'll see an announcement on Facebook and you can switch to the new experience. via Technology - Google News http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNF_cCmzLQkoeiFF2e13DFSpcxXdGg&url=http://www.dnaindia.com/scitech/report_facebook-s-killer-new-search-feature_1789291 | |||
