DSK launches two new superbikes - The Hindu

Photo: Shashi Ashiwal DSK Hyosung on Wednesday launched two new superbikes in India — the Aquila Pro (650-cc) and GT650R-2013 editions. According to a company release, the cruiser Aquila Pro is priced at Rs.4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the GT650R-2013 edition is priced at Rs.4.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Aquila Pro will be available in three colour variants — red, silver and black — while the GT650R will be sold in titanium white, titanium red and titanium black. DSK Hyosung is a partnership between DSK Motowheels and S&T Motors, South Korea, manufacturers of the Hyosung brand. DSK Motowheels has a CKD plant in Wai, Maharashtra, and 21 dealerships across the country. DSK and Hyosung at present sell four super bikes — GT250R, GT650R, GT650N and ST7. With the launch of the new superbikes, DSK Hyosung will be the only superbike company offering products ranging from 250-cc to 700-cc in India, the company said in a statement.
